Islanders prospect depth on display right now. All of Bridgeport's lines are showing good puck control.
Take that for what you will. They're still down 1-0. |

It started working about 8 min in if you refreshed the page. Still a sh!tty quality picture though. Whatever, Nino's got 3 pts and they just made it 4-2. Couple points for Kabanov, Nelson just potted his first pro goal. I'll take it! Could be a fun year in BPort. |

With his first AHL goal, Nino Niederreiter evened the score at two. -Dee Karl
Oh nice. Wait a minute though, niƱo played in Bridgeport for a short time last year.
He had 3 goals and an assist in 6 games last season. Do your damn research dee. And nobody cares that you were at a joss stone concert. |

I watched the game last night on a pretty sorry AHL live feed. Offense looked good. When they got going, it looked like there was some talent out there. I bought the AHL package...horribly priced as it is...so I figured since I'd be watching most of the games, I'd post some observations in the "My Hockeybuzz" section, http://my.hockeybuzz.com/...er_id=55451&post_id=14098, rather than waste space here, in case anyone who can't/doesn't want to watch has any interest in a firsthand observation of the games...unprofessional as it may be (my observations, not the games). |

Yeah, Kabanov looked really good on the shifts where he set up the two goals. I just didn't remember seeing much of him aside from that, but it all made sense when I read Fornabaio's column and he noted that Kabanov didn't play on the PP or PK...which took up a good chunk of the game. Hamonic? I didn't see anything bad happen to him (though if they said anything, I didn't catch it since I had to watch with the sound off since the announcer was a second ahead of the play on my feed). He was pretty solid, I thought. Made a nice stretch pass to Nelson on his goal and set up two others with shots from the point. |

One game is one game, but it was damn nice to see Nino, Kabanov, Nelson, Hammer, and Cizikas all with multi-point performances. |

Agreed...one game is one game, but it's better to see a goal explosion from all the right people in that one game than see your team get shutout. |
